A brass illustration was brass-stamped onto the black buckram front board. The spine is natural buckram with a leather block featuring the title done in gold leaf. This is the 2nd and final work of Ivan Turgeneu's for the Limited Editions Club.
This novel comes with a worn slipcase but the novel comes looking fresh of bookstore quality...a newness upon opening cover to cover 215 pages. Good quality for a 1951 1st edition.
