Giuseppe Armani "Close Encounter" Office/Home Collectible Ceramic Sculpture

This is an incredible Giuseppe Armani "Close Encounter" vintage sculpture. It was first introduced in 1993 and retired in 1994. Item number is 0258 F. It's from the Giuseppe Armani Children's collection. This stunning piece depicts a young girl with a dog that has an encounter with a large white duck. The girl is wearing a beautiful white outfit with gold trimmings. Her hair is short and curly and is wearing a scarf that's tied in a bow on her head. She has an adorable face with realistic features including her beautiful smile. The girl is sitting on a wheelbarrow. She's holding a cute Terrier puppy that has a gold bow on its head. There is a white large duck that arrives and is resting its head on the little girl, and she seems happy about it. This is truly a masterpiece of Giuseppe Armani with its meticulously hand-crafted details. The statue is 4 1/2" tall and 4 1/2". No chips or scratches. Last known original retail price is $399.00.
